Sensationaly Nice by Roni

Hi! I am only 11 years old as of November. I love horses.

This is the story of me, and a loss that I had. I take horse riding lessons at Wingate Farms, this is no big popular farm, it is quiet and small. I was put on a horse named Cinnamon, she is a 9 year old paint and I worked wonders with her, even the owners of the farm noticed the improvements. I knew that I would never get Cinnamon because she was 5 thousand dollars, and my family doesn't have that much money. I would pray at night that a horse would come to me, and I would own it.

Then, about 3 months later, my prayers were answered. A little paint gelding that was only one year of age, came to Wingate Farms. He was a cute little thing, his name was Sensationaly Nice. He was perfect for me, he did everything great. One day, during my birthday party, the owner of the farm called my house. He wanted to know if we could buy the horse then. My parents, no offence to them, had to say no because we didn't have enough money. Later that day I found out that my best friend in the world, Whitney R. bought him.

I couldn't stop crying, I felt like I was going to never forgive Whitney. I cried and cried for days. Now things are fine between me and Whitney, we just had to talk about it. She is going to rename him Tic-Tac. I loved him, but things happen.

Now, I have once again gotten attached to another horse. Cinnamon then had a black and white colt that I named Arrow, but his real nickname is probably going to be Cherokee. I want him more than anything. That is where my story ends, although I'm sure it is not finished yet.
